K-28 Steam Freight on the Durango & Silverton
Previously we watched a flanger being utilized. As part of the Durango & Silverton’s winter photographer special, the second day would be a freight train. Originally the plan was to have K-36 482 pulling the train, however the bearing issue the previous day wasn’t resolved in time, so K-28 476 was called to take over the special once again. The locomotive performed very well for everyone either chasing or riding the train. We also catch the special’s chase train a couple times as well carrying the photographers.
