E-scooters, bicycles, cars, and pedestrians all share the road, and only with mutual consideration can we make the daily chaos in the city a little more pleasant for everyone. I want to talk about a current topic, give you tips, answer your questions, and, of course, point out the problems of traffic planning. This episode is about the seemingly endless construction project: the RS1 cycle highway. A cycle path right across the Ruhr region? 118 km long? 4 m wide? The project was launched in 2010, but progress is painfully slow. Of the planned 118 km, only a fraction has been completed to date. I'll show you the completed section from Mülheim to Essen and wonder if I'll live to see its completion.
