Salt -1 T. Softened Salted Butter (unsalted is fine) -2 c. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips -14 oz. Can Sweetened Condensed Milk -4 Large Candy Canes Crushed 1 t. Peppermint Extract -Melt all ingredients together in a double boiler on low heat, except peppermint extract and crushed candy canes. -When all ingredients are incorporated and chocolate is melted, stir in the peppermint extract. -Remove from heat. -Pour chocolate into a greased pan. I used a 7x11 pyrex. -Evenly spread chocolate and top with crushed Candy Cane. -Gently pat candy cane crumbs into fudge. -Let Set.. Takes about three hours outside of fridge. In the fridge takes 1 hour to set. -Enjoy! Stores in fridge or airtight containers for 3-5 days. And there it is folks! That's How To Make Fudge! 1 2 3 Peppermint Fudge to be exact!
