My name is Ly. I am 28 years old, and I come from Vo Lao, a small countryside area in Lao Cai, Vietnam. In this video, I want to show you a part of rural life that many people never see. From far away, the rice fields look peaceful and beautiful. But behind that quiet view is a lot of hard work, muddy water, tired hands, and people who still plant rice by hand. This is a simple story about rice planting season in my village, about an old woman working in the fields, a buffalo plowing through the mud, and the quiet strength of people who live close to the land. Rice does not begin in a bowl. It begins here, in the mud, under the open sky.
