Hmong Refugee Finds Long Lost Cousin in Laos
In 2017, my mother and I accompanied my father as he returned to Laos for the first time. It was his first visit to the country since he left as a Hmong war refugee (Secret War) back in 1975. One of his goals during our visit was to find and reunite with his long lost cousin. The journey would not be an easy one. After days of searching, he managed to find his cousin and reunite with him. A touching and heart warming story.
