Mountain Clouds and a Curious Moose: High Uintas Wildlife

What started as a simple scenic drive turned into one of our most wildlife‑filled days yet. We spotted curious moose right from the road — including a massive bull who stood watching us with that calm, confident moose energy. Deer were everywhere, and even a porcupine waddled across our path like it owned the place. We hopped out of the car and walked up toward Moffit Peak, where low clouds drifted through the mountains and settled right into the ridgelines. It felt like walking through a moving painting — quiet, cool, and completely wrapped in mist.
