When people do a static exercise they commonly hold their breath but this doesn’t help core strength and stability. Learning to breathe when you do a static exercise can improve core strength and stability and overall movement. This doesn’t mean to just breathe during exercise but to breathe in a certain way, it’s a skill to learn and it might feel unnatural to begin with, but over time it’ll become second nature.
