A maneuver with some problems lowering the spinnaker during the Atlantic crossing from Bermuda to the Azores. The spinnaker maneuver, both hoisting and lowering, can take a while at first, but like everything else, you learn to master it and perform it quickly and safely. I wanted to show these examples of slower and more difficult maneuvers to share different realities, as we all have to go through these first times and also sail problems, which greatly helps us learn how to act and understand that these maneuvers are easily overcome and performed with skill and practice, especially on Atlantic crossings with constant sail changes like this crossing from the Caribbean to Europe.
