Transforming Our Dream Home: French Farmhouse Renovation by Gay Dads (to be)

Hi, we're Bram and Simon, two Dutch guys and soon-to-be fathers. Over a year ago, we discovered an old French farmhouse that stole our hearts, and after navigating a few hurdles, we were able to buy it. We're excited to share our journey as we transform this old Farm into our dream home, just in time for our baby girl’s arrival in a couple of months. This week, our renovation saga continues with several necessary tasks. We faced the challenge of removing a flat tire from our wheel loader, that with the upcoming arrival of our windows is getting more and more important. A vlog isn’t a vlog without the picturesque village of Monpazier to pick up our favorite bread. Back on the farm, we used our mini tractor to mow the overgrown grass, clearing a path for the morning walks with our dogs. Inside the farmhouse, we focused on installing the floor in our soon-to-be bedroom. The arrival of hot weather allowed us to tackle some long-needed roof repairs and seal off a few chimneys. Every task we complete brings us closer to realizing our vision for this beautiful farmhouse.
