Renovating a Farm in the Rural South of France; The Farmhouse and Its Bathrooms.
Living in a renovation in France is completely new to us. Just like the beautiful little villages that the Dordogne has. Plus beaux villages is how they are called. And now we own and are renovating a French farmhouse we can’t do without a vegetable garden. I have to admit, we gave up one it for a while but with the warmer weather of last weeks the vegetables started growing again. But we don’t have time to wander around the property all day. The restoration project continues. The farm has a lot of land but we weren’t sure where de borders were. So this week I started with setting out our boundaries. When that was done we could finally plant the first trees and plants. Let’s hope for beautiful weather with some rain in the nights preferably. Maybe in a couple of years the property will be unrecognizable with beautiful trees and paths. This week Bram has to leave the renovation project behind for a couple of days because of some checkups of our baby back in The Netherlands. But next week he will return to France so we can work together again. We've got a lot of ideas and plans for this house so we can't wait to show it all.
