The Silk Road Economic Belt, initiated by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013, has had the effect of increasing the trade of a rare horse between China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Central Asia. The Akhal-teke horses are considered as the world's most beautiful and mysterious horses, with only 3,000 of them around the world, mainly in Central Asia.
