We Hit the Dangerous Portland Bill at the Wrong Time - Here's What Happened

An awkward timing meant we were sailing round the notorious Portland Bill earlier than recommended. We paid the penalty with a rough ride for a few hours whilst sailing along the Devon coast on our way to Dartmouth on my sailing yacht, Zephyr IV, a Westerly Ocean Quest. This is episode two of our trip to the West Country in June 2025. Dartmouth UK was as lovely as ever and we even had Dolphins show us the way to the entrance. Another coastal Sailing trip for my 30 year old sailing boat which was quite challenging for a couple of old guys in their 80's.
