Through the San Juans | A Journey Along the Million Dollar Highway

Our journey begins just outside of Ridgway and follows US Highway 550 south through Ouray and into the San Juan Mountains along the Million Dollar Highway. Mountain shadows stretch across the road while sunlit slopes and snow-capped peaks rise above the valleys below. Part of the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway, the road climbs toward Red Mountain Pass before descending into Silverton, where this stretch of the journey comes to a close.
