Almond Tarts

ALMOND TARTS Makes about 18 tarts (depending how full you fill them) Place pre-made tart shells on a cookie sheet. Put about 1 tsp of raspberry jam in the bottom of each tart. Filling: 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder (do not use baking soda!) 2 eggs 1 tsp almond extract Mix filling together and fill tart shells. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. COOL. Glaze: 1 cup icing sugar 1 tsp almond extract 2 Tbsp water for consistancy Creaet a glaze to drizzle over bakes, cooled tarts.
