Labor accused of prioritising citizenship ceremonies for votes in key political areas

​Sky News host Jamiee Rogers calls for Labor to “release the full figures” to clear up the accusations of prioritising citizenship ceremonies in politically important areas. ​“When thousands of potential new voters are being processed in politically important areas, the government should expect questions,” Ms Rogers said. “The Albanese Government says this is simply about clearing a backlog; if so, it should release the full figures. ​“Tell Australians where the ceremonies are being increased; explain how the locations were chosen. ​“Transparency would help remove any suspicion that politics is influencing the process. “This looks like votes are being put ahead of people.”
