令和6年藪原神社例大祭本祭り_上獅子出発　2024year Yabuhara Shrine Annual Festival Main Festival Kamijishi Departure

令和6年藪原神社例大祭本祭り、上獅子は7月13日土曜日定刻の7:15分屋台小屋を出発する。 獅子は藪原の各戸の悪魔退散をしてお祓いをするために現れた。上獅子は剣の高さで東西に獅子頭を動かして悪魔がどこい居るかを上段から見定めしている。獅子は悪魔を見つけると頭（かしら）を廻しながら悪魔を目がけて頭を落とし悪魔退治をする。その後、悪魔が確実に死んでいるかを銀の双眼で確認するために、落とした獅子頭をそのまま真上にあげて確認する。そして、また獅子頭を東西に動かして悪魔を探す動きに移るのである。これが獅子舞の一連の流れである。 また、一見して獅子は楽団（横笛、小太鼓、大太鼓、鉦）に合わせて舞っているように見える。確かにこの方が音と舞いが合っているため獅子舞が美しく見える。しかし、本当は大太鼓の「ドン」という音に驚き、獅子がびっくりして舞っているのである。獅子の動きと楽団（人）の動きはまったく別物である。人間が獅子に悪魔退治をしろと強制的に獅子を動かしていると言っても良い。だから東西に獅子頭が動く時は、大太鼓の「ドン」の音に獅子が驚いて思わず獅子頭を東から西に、次の「ドン」に驚いて西から東へ獅子頭を動かしているのである。大太鼓の「ドン」より半テンポ遅れて獅子頭が動いている方が自然である。 For the main festival of Yabuhara Shrine in 2024, the Kamijishi will depart from the float at 7:15 on Saturday, July 13th. The lions have appeared to drive away evil spirits from each household in Yabuhara and perform exorcisms. The Kamijishi moves its lion head from east to west with its sword to determine from above where the demons are. When it finds a demon, it turns its head and aims at the demon, dropping it to exorcise it. After that, it raises the lion head straight up to check with its silver binoculars that the demon is definitely dead. It then moves its lion head east to west again to search for the demon. This is the sequence of the lion dance. Also, at first glance, the lion appears to be dancing to the music (flute, small drum, large drum, and gong). This certainly matches the sound and dance, making the lion dance look more beautiful. However, in reality, the lion is startled by the "don" sound of the big drum, and is dancing in shock. The movements of the lion and the movements of the band (people) are completely separate. You could even say that the humans are forcing the lion to move in order to slay the demons. So when the lion's head moves from east to west, it is because the lion is startled by the "don" sound of the big drum and inadvertently moves its head from east to west, and then it is startled by the next "don" and moves its head from west to east.
