We Found A GRAVE SITE At A REMOTE Scottish Beach - SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS Adventure Day Two!

Come join us for the second day in the SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS as we explore more of the West coast, taking a drive down remote dead-end roads near Glenelg on the Scottish West coast with beautiful lochs and Isle of Skye views and some beautiful highland cows, always a must in the highlands! Whilst we were in the area, we took a short woodland hike on the search for author Gavin Maxwell's grave where his ashes were buried, down near the beach of Sandaig. He was a naturalist and author, best known for his work with otters. His most popular book was "Ring Of Bright Water" published in 1960, this described how he brought an otter back from Iraq and raised it in Scotland. with sandy beaches, peace and quiet and the sound of the waves we could see why this was a beautiful spot. There was even a little remote Scottish bothy. We then took to a drive down the road back to Glenelg to a local cafe near the pier to watch the MV Glenachulish, (the last turntable ferry in the world) cross fight the tide over from the Isle of Skye on its last few ferry crossings of the day. We also watched a variety of birds and even got to see a Golden eagle thanks to fellow tourists that were next to us with their telescope.
