Amtrak's "Midnight Blue" Locomotive Leads the California Zephyr! ~ AMTK 100!

We all know how the east coast Amtrak services love to hog a handful of the P42 due to the software and technology implemented in some of the locomotives, like ACSES. Well, AMTK 100 "Midnight Blue" made it to the west coast and it was a spiffy sight to see! I chased it on both the westbound and eastbound California Zephyr trains up and down Donner Pass as well all the way to it's final destination of Emeryville, CA. It was a super fun chase with an amazing crew. Hope you enjoy the chase!
