Edyta Krześniak, investigative journalist and author of the book Psychologist, revisits the case of Andrzej Samson: a respected psychotherapist and Polish psychology guru who for years abused the children of patients who came to him for help. In this interview, Edyta recounts how the media—including herself—unwittingly built the authority of a man who took children in the absence of their parents, set up a camera, and took photos. She explains why the case remained hidden from public attention for so long, what the court proceedings, held behind closed doors, looked like, and why Samson's death brought no justice to the victims—only a conspiracy of silence. Gościni also discusses her own regret as a journalist: not reacting when she first encountered Samson, who was clearly under the influence of alcohol. And how this story has been returning to her life like a boomerang for years—because for the victims, it never ended. The conversation is also a call to parents: to be vigilant, to talk to their children about inappropriate touch, and to never leave a child alone with an adult—even if they're a recognized authority.
