MAZDA RX-8 | Falken RT660+ and Bilstein B14 PSS

POV ride-along in a Mazda RX-8 during a Time Attack session with the Washington DC Region (WDCR) SCCA on April 26, 2026. This was my fastest session of the day, where i set a new personal best lap for my blue car (1:24.18). It was nice horsepower weather, and the car is pretty dialed in now! The Falken RT660+ seem to have responded really well to my initial heat cycle. They are wearing well with minimal graining and are showing strong pace. They DO take a full lap to come up to temperatures on a 50F overcast day, which is not a big deal to me. On the plus side, they hang in for at least 4-5 laps with only minor fall-off in these conditions. The Bilstein B14 PSS coilover kit likewise continues to impress! The on-track performance is awesome, and the soft spring rates let me use aggressive amounts of curbing. QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS? LEAVE THEM BELOW.
