Join me for a relaxing Saturday during the month of June in Japan as I share a quick update following a doctor visit, enjoy a delicious gyukatsu lunch in Yokohama at Gyukatsu motomura, and spend the afternoon surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas at the English Garden's annual Hydrangea Festival in Yokohama. June is one of the most colorful times of year in Japan, but a lot of people find June to be depressing and gloomy because it's Japan's rainy season. However, the seasonal hydrangeas (known as "ajisai" in Japanese) are in full bloom and going to view them make for a perfect rainy-season outing. This is my first time to visit the English Garden in Yokohama and I had no idea such a beautiful garden existed! It's easy to get to and it wasn't crowded even on a Saturday!
