Lutz Meschke (Porsche-CFO): "Ziel ist eine wertschaffende Entwicklung über die nächsten Jahren"

It's the largest IPO in Germany in over 25 years: Porsche AG successfully completed its initial public offering on Thursday, despite the current market environment being anything but favorable. This raised €9.4 billion, which will be used to finance, among other things, e-mobility. The issue price was €82.50, with the initial price at €84. Inside Wirtschaft spoke with Porsche CFO Lutz Meschke at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange: "This was a promising start for us. We have a high level of responsibility for all stakeholders, and therefore we have structured our company very well. The goal is value-creating development over the next few years." Financial expert Robert Halver (Baader Bank) has high expectations for the stock, which could potentially join the DAX 40 as early as December: "We need a strong automotive industry. Porsche will meet these requirements. The stock is a good buy in the long term."
