The days have turned into weeks, and in the meantime, the country is economically suffocating and must raise 1.65 trillion FCFA to finance its 2026 budget. Without any clear understanding of the political direction for the next seven years, or who the ministers of the next government will be, a succession battle is brewing. With legislative and municipal elections approaching, this strange situation raises several questions. Meanwhile, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, still in exile in Gambia, continues to claim victory in last October's presidential election. How can we understand what is currently unfolding? What signals is Cameroon sending on the international stage?
