GBO2 Flint: The mass-produced Crossbone Gundam!

This video contains three matches I had with the recently released LV1 Flint on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650 cost general with excellent mobility, high melee damage, a ranged melee weapon that can be thrown while boosting, a high powered beam rifle, high ballistic DPS alongside access to a special Linked Fire machine gun with incredible power. It suffers from having awkward short range melee animations, from being unable to use the heat dagger melee weapon while the thrown dagger is reloading as well as it being very very squishy. I hope that you enjoy watching! Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 1900x2 (4800) power, 10 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 2 seconds focus time, 325m (400m) range and 30%x2 (80%) stagger value. Both firing modes instantly stagger. The charged shot consumes 4 rounds of ammo, but it gains ASL and piercing. Its primary melee weapon is a beam cutlass with 2850 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 140% downswing modifier. This deals high damage if you can land two hit combos, but the downswing feels a little more awkward to land when compared with the X1 Kai's downswing. It benefits from LV2 Aerial Melee. Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 150 power, 40 ammo, 514 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 1285 DPS and 7% stagger value. This has decent DPS and can stagger in about 1.7 seconds. Its second sub weapon is a chest vulcan gun with 200x2 power, 50 ammo, 400 RPM, 12 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range, 2667 DPS and 3%x2 stagger value. This is your highest DPS ranged option, but it doesn't have the best stagger power. Its third sub weapon is a machine gun with 180 (120+80+100) power, 60 ammo, 450 RPM, 15 (10) seconds reload, 0.77 (0.5) seconds swap time, 350m (300m) range, 1350 (2250) DPS and 12% (4%+4%+4%) stagger value. This has very high stagger power, being able to stagger in just 1.2 seconds, but it doesn't have very high DPS. After activating LV2 Linked Fire, shooting this will fire the head vulcans, chest vulcans and machine gun all at once. It can be fired while boosting if Linked Fire is activated. Its fourth sub weapon is a pair of heat daggers with 2400 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100%x2 neutral swing modifier, 150% downswing modifier and 70% combo modifier. These have very high damage potential, but they have incredibly short reach, using the same moveset as the F90 dual wield beam sabers. They benefit from LV2 Aerial Melee, but cannot be used while the dagger throw is reloading. Its fifth sub weapon is a heat dagger throw with 1300x2 power, 1 ammo, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 50%x2 stagger value and 200m range. This has short range, but it can be thrown while boosting. Since it counts as a melee weapon, it can ignore Maneuver Armor. Its sixth sub weapon is a beam shield with 6000 HP, 2600 (3500) power, 12 (25) seconds overheat time and 0.33 seconds swap time. This is a pretty standard beam shield, it deploys once equipped. It can be used like a melee weapon to deal a guaranteed 2600 damage, or to parry enemy swings with. The shield takes 30% less damage when equipped. Activating limit release mode powers up the shield for 10 seconds, causing it to deal more damage alongside totally nullifying damage taken to the shield. While limit released, the timer will not decrease unless the shield is equipped. The LV1 Flint has 22000 HP, 25 ballistic resist, 22 beam resist and 25 melee resist. It has low HP and no defensive buffers, making it incredibly squishy. It has LV2 Emergency Evasion, LV1 Maneuver Armor and LV2 Offence System for defensive skills. In terms of mobility it has 140 walking speed, 220 boost speed, 80 thrust and 78 turning speed. It is fast, but not really any faster than the Den'an Zon or Gunblaster. It has LV4 Forced Injector, LV4 Flight Control and LV2 Flap Booster for mobility boosting skills. In conclusion, I feel that while the Flint is a strong suit with a lot of potential, it has plenty of shortcomings and awkward aspects. It has very high melee damage, but using your strongest approach tool (the dagger throw) temporarily deprives you of a powerful melee weapon. It has a very powerful Linked Fire machine gun, but the Den'an Zon at this same cost has one just as strong that doesn't need Linked Fire. I have found it to be harder to play than the Gunblaster and Den'an Zon, it feels like you need to carefully consider your options and manage your resources correctly in order to succeed. If used to the fullest, I think it will be a good pick for this meta as a one per team sort of suit. It can counter the FA Engage Plan C with the dagger throw, and the RF Kampfer with the Linked Fire machine gun, so it certainly has a strong use-case. Thanks for watching!
