Additionally, a Yellow Level 2 warning is in place for disruptive snow near the Lesotho border, which could lead to traffic disruptions, while damaging winds and waves are expected from Cape Agulhas to Port Edward, posing hazards for informal settlements, high-sided vehicles, small vessels, and port operations into Friday. Residents in the affected areas should prepare for very cold, wet, and gusty conditions, and exercise caution on the roads due to possible hazardous weather and reduced visibility.
