Mardens Routemaster bus ride (RM978)

Come with me aboard newly-restored Mardens of Benfleet AEC Routemaster/Park Royal RM978 (LDS 164A, originally WLT 978) for a ride from Southend Victoria Circus pedestrian precinct to West Leigh along the London Road A13. RM978 has been restored by Marden Commercials' craftsmen from a semi-derelict mess into a superbly restored vehicle available for hire - still with its traditional AEC engine and gearbox.
