This time, I took a motorcycle trip on a Honda Gold Wing. From Fukushima in Tohoku, I traveled via Route 399, known as a rough road, to Yamagata Prefecture, seeking the breathtaking scenery of this remote region. First, I drove along National Route 399, also known as a rough road, to Hatomine Pass, located on the border between Fukushima and Yamagata Prefectures. The mountainous sea of ​​clouds, visible only in the early autumn mornings, is truly spectacular. I was deeply moved by the breathtaking beauty. Next, I toured Uriwari Rock Garden, home to Yamagata's mystical sheer rock formations, before taking National Route 113 to Oguni Town. I rode along the Tamagawa River, offering a panoramic view of the Iide Mountain Range, to the breathtaking Taruguchi Pass. I was deeply moved by the breathtaking views of the beautiful Iide Mountain Range, known as the Alps of Tohoku. For lunch, I enjoyed delicious gourmet food and local souvenirs at the Shiromori Oguni Roadside Station, a popular destination for motorcyclists.
