【尾瀬裏ルート】誰もいない静寂の山岳エリアへ。鳩待峠から尾瀬沼まで、ひたすら孤独と戦う過酷ルート

On June 23rd and 24th, 2014, we started from Hatōmachi Pass and ascended, first reaching Ayame-daira, the "paradise in the heavens." The expansive wetland stretching out before us, and the breathtaking views of Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Hiuchigatake in the distance, were truly exhilarating, but unfortunately, the sky was cloudy. However, the beauty was so overwhelming that it made us forget the fatigue of the climb up to this point. Leaving Ayame-daira behind, the real traverse began. The path leading to Mt. Shiraoyama and then Mt. Sarafushiyama was eerily quiet, a stark contrast to the bustling activity we'd experienced earlier. We made our way step by step through the deep, moss-covered forest, navigating repeated ups and downs. With no other hikers to encounter, we enjoyed a luxurious yet slightly challenging mountain trek, feeling as if we were having a private conversation with the nature of Oze. After emerging from the long stretch of forest, we arrived at Daisei-daira, a place of beauty comparable to Ayame-daira, and finally, through the gaps in the trees, we could see the surface of Ozenuma Lake. We reached our goal for the day, the campsite at Ozenuma Hutte. The feeling of relief after setting up the tent and unloading the gear was exceptional. Ozenuma Lake at dusk was pure tranquility. It was a wonderful time to soothe the fatigue of the day. Caution: The section between Shiraoyama and Oshimizu is a mix of muddy areas, fallen trees, loose rocks, and areas requiring bushwhacking.
