We finally tried Peter’s Fish Market, one of the most famous fish and chip spots on the Gold Coast, Australia. Located at The Spit near Marina Mirage, Peter’s Fish Market is known for fresh seafood, huge queues and classic Australian fish and chips. As a British family living in Australia, we wanted to see how it compared with the fish and chips we grew up eating in the UK. We ordered battered fish, chips, calamari, potato scallops and a battered saveloy, along with drinks for our family of five. The entire order cost $52, but was it genuinely good value and did this popular Gold Coast seafood spot live up to the hype?
