One ROM 24 - Adding USB-C to a 0.75" x 1.25" PCB
I have previously said I didn't think it was possible to add USB-C to the 24 pin version of One ROM - but in this video I prove myself wrong. See why and how I go about adding USB-C to this tiny PCB, using the RP2354A with built-in flash and dropping down to 0201 passives. As usual, everything is open source, and the design files are available on Github, so feel free to have a look and make your own. I have stock of these boards, so if you want one, check out the links below. 🔗 *Links* One ROM: https://onerom.org/ Buy: https://onerom.org/buy Github: https://github.com/piersfinlayson/one... ⏰ *Timestamps* 00:00 Introduction 01:22 Why and how 14:10 Schematic updates 19:06 USB-C vs Micro USB 19:55 Groups of components 20:47 The layout 34:32 Complete 36:40 Final thoughts Video content copyright (c) 2026 piers.rocks Limited.
