While performing highly manualized sales tasks, I became interested in an environment where individuals could maximize their abilities. ➢ I joined Septeni, which was founded six years ago, as the company's first mid-career hire. As the number of employees grew fivefold in about four years, I realized that individual growth and company growth are linked. ➢ I moved to Recruit Career. I stayed there for about 15 years, serving as sales manager for various groups (including a major manufacturing company, a C-suite staffing agency, and the Kyushu branch). I realized that "people" change companies, and "the joy of work" changes individuals. ➢ I moved to Optimus, a recruitment agency specializing in startups. Working with major VCs, I have a track record of introducing approximately 100 people to CxO positions. ➢ Now, at age 50, and living a "100-year life," Ken Katsuta strongly identified with the business potential of Life Shift Lab, which solves career challenges for middle-aged and senior citizens through a "practical business school format," and joined the company. As a trainer, he supports students in their side jobs and career changes.
