SIAMESE ROOTS IN MALAY SOIL | Spirit of Asia | August 14th, 2022

...Following a period of relief in the Covid-19 situation, our neighbouring countries are finally opening their borders to welcome their citizens back home. Apart from tourists, foreigners living in Thailand have also been waiting to return home. The Thai - Malaysian border has opened for the first time in two years. Our Spirit of Asia team is returning to the state of Kedah in Malaysia to meet with the people of the borders. These people are certainly our neighbours who speak the same language, here in this part of the region where Thailand and Malaysia share “a very long history”.
