My First WIN in EGYPT!

Welcome to Egypt – the Mecca of squash, where many of the world's greatest players are made. For the next 2 and a half weeks, I’ll be training here in New Cairo for the first time. Follow my journey and see what I learn from the strongest squash nation on earth as I produce a mini-vlog daily throughout my training camp. Today I travelled on Cairo’s newly built monorail to the Cairo International Stadium to train with Ahmed Sherif, and then to the American University in Caro to train with Mohamed Gohar. The Cairo Monorail is a new 100 km electric rapid transit system connecting East and West Cairo to the New Administrative Capital and 6th of October City, providing a fast, modern alternative to road travel for hundreds of thousands of passengers each day. Cairo International Stadium is Egypt's largest stadium, seating around 75,000 spectators and serving as the country's premier venue for football, athletics, concerts, and major international sporting events. Ahmed Sherif is a promising young Egyptian professional squash player from Cairo who joined the PSA Tour in 2021 and has been steadily climbing the world rankings through strong performances on the international circuit, reaching a highest world ranking of 212. The American University in Cairo (AUC) is a leading English-language private university renowned for its high-quality education, research, and beautiful campus in New Cairo. Mohamed Gohar is one of the leading young Egyptian professional squash players and is regarded as part of the next generation of talent coming through Egypt's world-renowned squash system. He joined the PSA Tour in 2020 and has steadily climbed the world rankings through consistent performances on the international circuit, reaching a highest ranking of 91.
