Welcome to Egypt – the Mecca of squash, where many of the world's greatest players are made. For the next 2 and a half weeks, I’ll be training here in New Cairo for the first time. Follow my journey and see what I learn from the strongest squash nation on earth as I produce a mini-vlog daily throughout my training camp. Today I turned up to Club One Maadi, a private social, sports and leisure club in Maadi, Cairo, designed as a resort-style destination for families, fitness enthusiasts and athletes. Home to Omar Mosaad’s Squash Academy, I knew I would find a decent player to train with. Mosaad reached World No. 3 and was the 2015 World Championship runner-up, and the academy is attractive to players wanting to learn directly from one of Egypt's most successful professionals.
