This video performs a tune-up on the A604, 41TE, and 41TES automatic transmission in a 1997 Voyager, but it also applies to other vehicles from 1989 to 2011, such as: Voyager, Neon, Avenger, Journey, Town Country, Cirrus, Eclipse, etc. The parts that must be removed to remove the valve body and solenoids are shown. In addition to removing the crankcase to drain the oil, which is the basic replacement part of a tune-up, I remove the valve bodies and solenoids to perform maintenance and clean the wax and dirt inside them, so that the oil doesn't become contaminated as quickly. The tune-up is performed between 40 and 60 thousand kilometers. It is a periodic maintenance that involves changing the oil and filter in the automatic transmission. I present the disassembly of the solenoid body, the details, and how to clean it. On this occasion, the decision was made to replace it. I present the solenoid body rebuild kit, details of the pressure switches, as well as the solenoid markings, because if the position is lost, the transmission will fail, as there are two open solenoids and two closed solenoids. It shows how to put the gear lever in the park position for valve body removal, which is with the lever in first or Low gear. It shows how to remove the oil filter, as well as the bolts to remove it from the transmission, and how to disassemble it with T27 Torx bolts. It shows details of how to remove the lever actuator and the manual valve. It shows the position of the check balls, the internal filter, and the check valve that is located on the channel plate. It details the most dirty spots and how to clean them first with gasoline and finally in the ultrasonic tank. It shows how to assemble and replace the Teflon rings in the 2/4 accumulator, and how to close the two parts of the valve body, the lever assembly, and the TR (range sensor). It shows how to install the valve body and solenoids in the transmission, how to assemble the filter, and how to seal the transmission to prevent oil leaks. The transmission oil is filled with the ATF+4 specification, the level is checked, and the method for loading the applications is explained by moving the gear lever through all positions. A road test is performed to verify operation. Subscribe to the @transmisionsegura channel, activate notifications, leave us a comment, and share it so it's useful to more people.
