The diagnosis and resolution of DTC code P0755 2/4 Solenoid Circuit is performed. The control circuit is tested. This applies to codes P0750, P0760, and P0765 referring to the Overdrive, Underdrive, Low/Reverse, and 2/4 solenoids, located in the solenoid body and activated by the TCM (transmission computer). The P0882 TCM Low Power Input code refers to the control of the solenoid body's power supply. It is protected when the code is generated. This diagnostic applies to the modern A604 or 41TES transmission with VLP (Variable Line Pressure Control) in Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler vehicles such as the Avenger, Journey, Caliber, Stratus, Sebring, Cirrus, Pacifica, Grand Caravan, Town Country, and PT Cruiser. The diagnosis is similar for transmissions. 42RLE and 62TE. With the scanner, codes and live data are displayed. It is observed that the vehicle is in protection mode (EATX limp-in) in second gear, the transmission kicks when reverse or drive is engaged, displays P0700 and P0755 2/4 solenoid circuit faults, and the P0846 2/4 pressure switch code. The charging system is tested and a shorted diode is observed. The repair is presented at the end of the video. The information is taken from the Mitchell ON Demand diagnostic chart, which refers to tests using a Miller 8333 simulator, continuity measurement and short to positive and ground of the harness, solenoid resistance measurement, and measurement of the EATX solid-state relay pulse in TIPM, with technical information. The 2/4 resistor is observed to be burned out; its replacement is shown. The solenoid body harness and its resistance are tested, as well as the solenoids themselves to ensure they are in good condition. The PCM harness pins are checked for looseness, which could cause false contacts.
