Peak 10 Trail - High Elevation Shelf Road- AMAZING Breckinridge, Colorado Off-road Jeep Trail

This trail is relatively short and it took me an hour to get to the top and then an hour back down. The lower part of this trail through the ski area is easy. It is rocky in places but there are no major or even minor obstacles. Any aggressive stock SUV or vehicle with low range gearing can complete this trail. Once you reach the basin below Peak 10, that is when the fun begins! There are a series of tight switchbacks that are mostly all narrow. My buddy completed this trail in his stock Nissan Titan truck but I would only recommend that for an experienced driver. I saw many stock vehicles on the trail this day and stock Jeep Wrangler TJ was at the top and he had no trouble on the trail at all. I am glad that I ran this trail as the views at the top were incredible.
