Flying from Seattle to Oshkosh AirVenture in a Diamond DA42 (and a Phenom 100 Biz Jet!)

This video shows an awesome trip from Seattle out to the 2024 AirVenture. For those that don’t know about it, AirVenture is a huge annual aviation gathering in Oshkosh, Wisconsin organized by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). In 2024, over 680,000 people attended and 10,000 planes flew into the Oshkosh Airport (KOSH). This doesn’t include the thousands of planes flying into neighboring airports like Green Bay, WI (KGRB). I’d been three times previously. A friend and fellow Angel Flight pilot based near Salt Lake City, UT was going for the first time and asked if I’d like to ride with him. We agreed that I would fly down to Ogden, Utah (where his plane is based) and then we would fly together in his very nice Phenom 100 Business Jet. Most of this video shows my flight from Seattle down to Ogden, UT (Just north of Salt Lake City). I have included some limited video I took in the Phenom and also several photos and video from AirVenture.
