Hi everyone, I'm Allen. Today I filmed the Dongcangmen Morning Market, a popular morning market among Xi'an locals, and Weiqu Old Street, the night market with the largest variety of snacks in Xi'an. The Dongcangmen Morning Market is a frequent breakfast spot for Xi'an locals. It opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 9:00 AM. Here, you can find the most authentic local snacks, such as zenggao (steamed rice cake), rouding hulatang (spicy soup with diced meat), shuijianbao (pan-fried buns), Weinan baozi (steamed buns from Weinan), and zhouzi jiamo (braised pork knuckle in a bun). Besides these delicacies, it's also a large-scale vegetable and fruit market, where you can buy fruits and vegetables at very low prices. Weiqu Old Street is one of the representative night markets in Xi'an, boasting a rich variety of snacks and classic delicacies from all over the country.
