When your grail watch disappoints...
Most of us watch collectors have a "grail" watch. This is a piece that we desire and look at for months to years. We scour the internet for watch blogs, Youtube reviews, photos, and really any information we can get on this piece, until the day we actually get it. Most times our dreams come a reality, and the watch lives up to your expectations. However, in some cases, including my own, we can be left disappointed in our grail watch once we get it. This is my story of the Cartier Santos (Reference 2823) that left me dissatisfied to the point that I sold the watch within 1 month. I have been fortunate enough to have owned a few of my grail watches, including my Rolex Explorer (reference 124270).
