廃村大平(おおなる)　廃村となった今も残された墓地や神社を管理しに来ている人がいる

● Ōnaru(大平) In 1950, 67 people from 10 households lived here, but by 1987, only 2 people from one household remained, and it is now an abandoned village. The cemetery and shrine remain in good condition, suggesting that village officials still visit. There is a rain gauge and electricity is still available. In this abandoned village, you can see many houses that look like they could collapse at any moment, and many that have already fallen into ruin. It is also a shortcut to Takataru(高瀑) Falls. ● Nariyabu(成藪) As a bonus, I also visited Nariyabu nearby. It says, "A family that fled during Toyotomi Hideyoshi's conquest of Shikoku..." but the history is similar everywhere. It gives the impression of being a village slightly smaller than Ōnaru. Even now, you can see houses and barns that look like they are about to collapse along the forest road.
