Cass Scenic Railroad Parade of Steam 2026 Part 1

On Saturday, June 20th, 2026, was the day of the Cass Scenic Railroad's Parade of Steam event. In this event, they have five steam locomotives in operation, three of them being Shay locomotives, which are Shays #2 and #5, and even the largest Shay locomotive ever built, the Western Maryland #6. They even brought out two other different geared locomotives in the event, the Heisler #6, and the Moore-Keppel & Company Climax #9. This part one video shows Shay locomotive #5, Western Maryland #6, Heisler #6, and Moore-Keppel & Company Climax #9, making their grand entrance to the Cass depot to get ready for the parade to begin. Shay #2 is at the rear end of these locomotives, and I missed seeing it make her entrance and being the first locomotive to start off for the day.
