Arnulfo Briceño learned music from street performers. His life, which to many resembled a novel, was full of moments where his love for art was what propelled him forward. He was an intelligent and dedicated man, which is why at a young age he had the opportunity to join the group Los Pequeños Vallenatos, a band with which he was able to perform in Venezuela, Ecuador, and Peru. There he shared the stage with Alfredo Gutiérrez, the musician who would become the three-time Vallenato King. His exceptional abilities led him to receive a scholarship to study law, and, without abandoning music, he decided to write his thesis on copyright.
