MX Ergo Plus VS SlimBlade Pro VS Deft Pro VS Deft VS Apple Trackpad VS Nulea M505 VS Huge
In pursuit of better desk ergonomics and treating a pesky RSI, I fell down the rabbit hole of trackballs. After much testing, researching, and reading, I felt like I owed YouTube a summary of what I learned. In short, thumb trackballs weren't as effective for me, and I preferred finger trackballs. That's preferential, however—your mileage may vary. Also, a few years ago, I tried an Elecom Huge. Despite the name and huge footprint, it's not actually designed for large hands; certainly not huge hands! At that point, I switched to a vertical mouse and gave up on trackballs. Well, the RSI never really went away. The wrist pain improved but didn't go away. My shoulder pain lingered, however. Enter a new fleet of trackballs! As with anything, these are my results and preferences. Your impression may vary depending on body shape, size, injuries, etc. No one's hand is the same. What works for me might not be a perfect fit for you.
