In Episode 3 of my solo road trip to Ladakh, I finally crossed into Ladakh through the legendary Zojila Pass. But before reaching there, I experienced the breathtaking beauty of Sonmarg, got stuck in a long traffic jam on damaged mountain roads, and wondered if I'd make it before nightfall. Just when I thought the day was over, something unexpected happened. A group of local boys from Drass invited me to join their annual picnic celebration. They shared tea, bread, stories, and even pulled me into their traditional dance. I didn't understand the language, but I understood the warmth.
