Pakistan's Most Dangerous Road Left Us Speechless

Everyone warned us about the Shimshal Road. Known by many as one of Pakistan's most dangerous roads, we had to find out for ourselves. After riding the Karakoram Highway to the highest international border crossing in the world, we turned off the main road and headed deep into Shimshal Valley, one of the most remote places in northern Pakistan. Google Maps estimated the ride would take around three hours. Reality had other plans. Narrow cliff roads. Suspension bridges. Deep sand. Loose rock. Endless drop-offs. Every kilometre demanded complete concentration, and one small mistake could have ended our adventure.
