81 MPH! My Arrma Granite Joined the 80 MPH Club… Then the ESC Exploded! 🔥

81 MPH… WE DID IT! 🚀 After weeks of testing batteries, gearing, tires, and different speed run locations, my Arrma Granite Mega 665 officially broke into the 80 MPH club with a new personal best of 81 MPH. This run was made with: 🔋 CNHL Purple 4S LiPo ⚙️ 27T pinion ⚡ 3665 3600KV motor 🔌 Hosim 100A ESC 🛞 107mm belted tires 🔧 Widebody conversion Unfortunately, the celebration didn't last long... Immediately after the record run, the battery lead desoldered from the ESC, ending the life of the Hosim 100A controller. Was it worth it? Absolutely. This ESC helped take this former auction-find Granite from the low 60s all the way to 81 MPH before making the ultimate sacrifice.
