LE RICETTE SARDE DI MIA MAMMA, ZIA BADORA: "LA SEBADA"

My mother, Aunt Badora, is a great housewife. She had ten children, six sons and four daughters; she worked hard all her life, ever since she was a child. Born in Nuoro in 1934, she spent her childhood in the historic San Pietro neighborhood. Our family wasn't particularly wealthy, but our parents never let us want for anything. They taught us children to respect others and to work, to love our children, and to always keep our word. My father, who is no longer with us, was also very strict, but he, too, taught us to fend for ourselves, to work to get what we want. Thank you, Mom and Dad, I love you.
