Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) - Chambers Trade Academy

The purpose of these sessions is to provide general insights into exporting, importing, customs as well as keep traders up to date with the latest changes in regulations and provide tips on how to grow globally. In this 60 minute session we provided an brief introduction to the new EU Regulation CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism).  This is a policy tool designed to address carbon leakage and ensure that the price of carbon emissions is consistent both within the EU and on imported goods. We formed Chamber Trade Academy in partnership with other UK Chambers of Commerce to help local businesses trade globally.
