Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms

CBAMs are increasingly being contemplated as part of the global fight against climate change. What's at stake for implementing countries and their trading partners? How big are the economic changes that could take place? What is the position of developing countries? Where do these measures sit with regard to WTO legality, and consistency with Free Trade Agreements?
